Based in Armidale, on the beautiful New England Tablelands, Raw Fibre was
launched in 2016. Since then, we have reinvented ourselves several times and
have really grown into our skin and are living true to our values. Raw Fibre is
a unique boutique which, as the name suggests, is focused on making and
sourcing products made from beautiful natural products. We also place a strong
emphasis on sustainability. The brands represented are passionate about
manufacturing ethically through areas such as the raw materials they use and
supporting their staff and the communities where they are based.
I live on a cattle property out of Armidale with
my husband. My love of nature and the beauty it encapsulates has carried
through to the shop’s ethos. The opportunity to raise a family in an
environment that is surrounded by so much natural beauty and so many creative
people is a blessing. It also offers many sources of inspiration for colour and
design.
Our Mission ...
At Raw Fibre we are proud to support
local artisans by providing a space for them to sell their products. We also
work closely with many Australian and global brands who are making inroads into
improving the raw materials they use and the degree to which they are
manufacturing sustainably. It is a point of difference for us and people are
excited to purchase items when they know the history of the brand.

We are constantly seeking out new
brands that fit with our values. There are so many products out there, so we
are trying to find a unique offering to provide both our in-store and online
shoppers with new and exciting products that are responsibly sourced and made.
I hope that through our carefully
curated collection of beautiful pieces, I can in some small way help people of
all ages appreciate quality and value sustainable living.
Our Team ...
I currently employ three lovely local ladies,
and I would be lost without them. Louise, Lauren and Sal all bring different
things to my business, and I value their input into the shop.
We all have a similar philosophy on how
we want our customers to feel. Customer service is so important to us, and we
do whatever we can to make people feel welcome and comfortable when they come
to Raw Fibre. Creating a safe and caring space where people want to come back
to, is paramount to us above all else.
